Mural San Pedro Atocpan. Calpulli Tecalco

Thanks to the invitation of the NGO Calpulli Tecalco and, with the support of the NGO Mas Por Nosotros and La Fabrica de Jarabes San Pedro, we made a mural in which the workers’ factory participated. The images represented are initially traditional embroidery patterns created by the region’s women. The work began with a workshop, where, in dialogue with the workers, we talked about aspects such as memory, embroidery, and the use of traditional images. Each person chose which pattern to draw and chose the colors to create a vibrant community mural in colors.
